![]() While this was a Pokemon go cruise, the tour guide also provided good information about the various sights we passed, along with lot of Pokemon related talk. ![]() We were welcomed on to the cruise to the sound of Pokemon go theme song which set the mood nicely. The cruise organisers were really accomodating, letting me change my date when I realised I couldn't make it for the date booked. Took my 8 year old on this Pokemon fishing trip. The pokemon trainer obviously knew his stuff and everyone was very welcoming. I would recommend this as a trip for families - the kids were kept busy, the adults were given interesting information and the scenery was beautiful. They didn't capture any of the really rare ones but for all I know it could be that they are still at a low level. Overall the kids had a great time and caught about 56 Pokémon each. The reason i havent awarded 5 stars is that there weren't enough seats and we ended up standing for the whole 2 hours and by the end of the cruise I think everyone over the age of 10 was a bit fed up of the repetitive music! It would also have been handy if there were charging points around the boat as the kids drained my phone. The boat was warm, rain wouldn't spoil this trip unless the river became really choppy! There was a bar selling soft and alcoholic drinks. It was beautiful to see London from the river as the sunset, especially as you could see some of the Xmas lights. He gave them some great tips and also pointed out lots of interesting facts about the bit of the Thames we were sailing up and down, so the adults were kept interested as well. ![]() There was a 'Pokemon trainer' on the mic all night and he was helping all the kids find pokemon and encouraging them. They had what I presume is the pokemon theme tune playing. Took the kids on this trip to capture Pokemon and that they did! On boarding the boat each child was given a little bag of sweets.
